Hey guys, just going to sayoff the bat: Don't bust my chops for looking a little too far ahead, but I just thought it might be a good idea too look at a few potential quarterbacks for KC is we can't get Smith resigned. From what i've seen there are a fewe possibilities I see who would work well in Reid's System. First, Marcus Mariota from Oregon, I know you may think i'm nuts at even putting him on here because we may have know shot at getting a chance at Mariota but remember the Chiefs are going to have a lot of picks next year and I wouldn't be surprised to see Dorsey make a move for someone. Mariota is one of the top dual-threat quarterback's in the draft and should likely go number 1 overall (and if I had to guess a team at number 1 I would say the Rams) size is what you look for at 6'- 4" and 218 lbs an would be a gret fit in KC. Next Brett Hundley from UCLA another dual threat with good size at 6' 3" and 227 lbs unlike Mariota he has a cannon arm and would also be a great fit for KC. Third Jameis Winston FSU, just to bring this up have the Chiefs ever had a Heisman winning QB, great size at 6'-4" 228 lbs he can run and gun with the best of them. Now the QB I see as the most likely to land in KC is Bryce Petty QB Baylor. What can I say, he has great size at 6'-3" and 230 lbs, rocket launcher for an arm, can run the football pretty damn well and reminds me a lot of Colin Kapernick, say what you want about Kapernick he gets the job done. I think just think he is what Reid looks for in a QB for his system. In conclusion while Murray or Bray maybe starting next season, I just think with all the talent at QB in the draft next year it may not be a bad idea to get a QB who could maybe help right away. If you know any other QB prospects who would work let me know an GO CHIEFS!
