De'Anthony Thomas returns

DAT left Tuesday's practice early. The Chiefs said after practice he was sick, presumably from that KC humidity and two-plus hours of practice.
RB De’Anthony Thomas initally chuckled, then said on dealing with KC humidity: "Just got to keep working hard, keep some fluids in my body."— Herbie Teope (@HerbieTeope) June 18, 2014
Weston Dressler is back, too
Chiefs WR Weston Dressler (hamstring) returned to the practice field today. He missed first day of minicamp. pic.twitter.com/Zt8DfiEYbb— Herbie Teope (@HerbieTeope) June 18, 2014
Good news for the competition at the Chiefs slot receiver. Dressler went down last week with a hamstring injury. I was slightly concerned when he wasn't there on Tuesday but he was back on Wednesday.
Sean Smith misses another practice
CB Sean Smith was again not here, presumably for an illness— Terez A. Paylor (@TerezPaylor) June 18, 2014
The Chiefs said he was also sick on Tuesday. So we still don't know if Smith's demotion to the second team will last.
Three more players leave early
Chiefs TE Sean McGrath (knee), CB Phillip Gaines, RT Donald Stephenson (calf) all left today's minicamp practice early.— Herbie Teope (@HerbieTeope) June 18, 2014
Andy Reid will be talking on Thursday so hopefully we have some sort of update on those guys. If not, it's a looong offseason.
Zach Fulton in the running at right guard?
Zach Fulton seems to be earning more and more of the first-team reps at RG. We'll see how he does in pads, through.— Terez A. Paylor (@TerezPaylor) June 18, 2014
This is something I noticed on Tuesday out at Chiefs minicamp. Fulton played a good chunk of the right guard reps and that continued. Maybe this means something?
As Herbie says ...
The Chiefs continue to shuffle right side of offensive line, which is obviously subject to change in training camp.— Herbie Teope (@HerbieTeope) June 18, 2014
More practice observations
This was a rough day of practice for the DBs. Parker had two PIs on long passes and Avery & Hammond both had long TD over the middle.— Terez A. Paylor (@TerezPaylor) June 18, 2014
Chiefs WR Dwayne Bowe made full-extension leaping grab on pass from QB Alex Smith during 11-on-11. Drew "oohs" from teammates on sidelines.— Herbie Teope (@HerbieTeope) June 18, 2014
Notes from Chiefs mini-camp: Red still major player in color scheme, passing to receivers. I've said too much...— Mick Shaffer (@mickshaffer) June 18, 2014
Bray continues to battle with his accuracy. Sailed a deep throw and missed a WR wide open over the middle.— Terez A. Paylor (@TerezPaylor) June 18, 2014
Vance Walker got more reps with the 1's today. #Chiefs— Nick Jacobs (@Jacobs71) June 18, 2014
