How are you going to enjoy the draft?

The big day is drawing near. No more speculation on how the draft is going to pan out. In just a few days all our questions will be answered. Some of us will be jumping for joy while others will have to take a few days off due to the state of depression brought upon them. Although it is interesting to read other peoples point of views on players and how the draft should go. I'm tired of all the mock drafts. Then there is all the rumors. Most of us are smart enougth to realize that only a very small fraction of them are correct. The problem is figuring out which ones make up that small fraction and which ones are smoke screens. I just hope that this does not turn out to be one of them drafts that I get all excited about only to end up walking away wondering what the heck just happened.

I plan on enjoying the draft with my son and grandson. My grandson is approaching three and this will be his first draft, of course he will be outfitted in Chiefs attire. I live in a rural area and do not have access to the notorius KC BBQ as many of you do. So I will do the next best thing and make my own Baby back ribs and corn on the cob. Although I would like to indulge in a cold adult beverage. I try to refrain from that around my grandson. Hopefully this will become a tradition and when he gets a little older and responsible we can enjoy one together. During the draft I am planning on making arrangements for my son and I to attend the Chiefs / Patriots game.

That is my plans on how to enjoy the draft. I know everyone has there own way of viewing the draft. Some throw a big party, others may celebrate with a bunch of the guys at the tavern of there choice. In a few drafts in the past I was perfectly happy in my man cave with a cold beverage and some chips.

This post is designed to let people share how they are going to enjoy the draft. Feel free to recommend a favorite tavern that may be having a draft special going on. Maybe you want to throw out a few good words for you choice of BBQ establishments or the beverage of your likings.
