The German militarization of the 1930's was based on superiority of equipment and superiority of numbers in that equipment. The Germans had better military weapons in the hands of the Soldiers, the Tank commanders, and the Pilots. The Germans overran Europe, parts of Africa, and parts of Asia. Technologically.
Why are they not still ruling the world today? I think part of it is this:
The Germans wanted to build the best Tank to ever see a battlefield. The King Tiger II of which the Germans were able to build 490 in total.
The Germans wanted to build the best Battleships to ever sail the Seven Seas. The Scharnhorst, Gneisenau, Tirpitz, and Bismarck were that. Four warships that never sailed together.
The ME-262 Jet fighter. The Germans built 1400 or so but only could field 200 Jets at any one time. Obviously, the German engineers and Scientists were capable of producing the new weapon systems to change the battlefield if.
IF, The Germans had unlimited material resources, time, and capital to build it with.
Two nations chose to do it a different way. The United States and the Soviet Union did it with raw numbers. They cranked out Tanks, Ships, and Planes that simply over-whelmed the German technological advantage.
The Seahawks used numbers. A wave of Defensive lineman and Defensive backs to suppress Peyton in his own airfield, the Pocket. The Seahawks took the battle to the Denver QB pocket.
The Kansas City Chiefs have some very fine weapons. Some very pricey weapons. The Chiefs added some new, less pricey additions to the arsenal. Vance Walker, Joe Mays, Chris Owens, Dee Ford, and Phillip Gaines brought in via Free Agency and the draft. Husain Abdullah and Sanders Commings returning for year two as Chiefs.
The Chiefs will bring DAT, and Albert Wilson, and Travis Kelce online this season as offensive weapons.
The Chiefs are adding quality numbers in every part of the roster.
