Auburn LB Dee Ford figures to work slowly into the Kansas City Chiefs outside linebacker rotation with Justin Houston and Tamba Hali expected to hold things down in the 2014 season. If all goes well, his role increases in 2015 and beyond depending on what happens with Houston and Hali.

10 things to know about Dee Ford

1. He gained over 40 pounds since his freshman year.

2. Among active players, he finished fifth in tackles for loss yardage (263).

3. He was the fifth linebacker and fourth outside linebacker taken in the draft.

4. He is the 12th Auburn Tiger to be drafted by the Chiefs and the first in 10 years.

5. Ford is the first linebacker taken in the first round by an Andy Reid-led team.

6. He is a public administration major.

7. He was the defensive MVP in the Senior Bowl.

8. He combined for three sacks in his final two college games -- SEC Championship game and National Championship game.

9. He was a 3-star recruit coming out of high school, according to Rivals.
