What is it going to take?

There are a lot of fellow Chief fans that are concerned about what the Bronco's have done via free agency. I'm not overly impressed. Sure they acquired Aqib Talib, however they lost Champ Baily and DMC. Two starting CB's. Who is going to be there second CB, and if injuries occur there 3rd or fourth? Ward broke out last year but has not proven himself over time. Sanders over Decker? I question this move. Decker fit Mannings style of play will Sanders? Ware can be a force, but still there are questions. Is he going to stay healthy? Is he losing a step? They did lose Ayers and Shaun Phillips. Bronco's may of improved but not as much as one might think.

So how do we beat the Bronco's. First we have to continue the trend that the team established the last seven games of last year. Score an average of 34.5 points per game. There is no reason we can not continue this, if we find ample replacements for our O-Line. We can even improve the average by finding a quality #2 reciever.

The second task we need to achieve to beat the Bronco's is follow the SeaHawks lead. They ran one of the simpliest defense's to that the Bronco's faced last year. The Bronco's knew exactly what the defense was going to do and could not beat it. The first thing is they applied pressure on the QB. The acusistion of Walker and a healthy Hali and Johnson should help us achieve this. Next we need our defensive backs playing five yards off the line of scrimmage. Doing this takes away any pick plays that the Bronco's run. Manning has built his career on pick plays and timing. It allows short one or two yards catches but the DB is in position to make the tackle and make the reciever pay. Execution of this defense is very important.

Why over complicate things? If we can continue our offensive improvement and keep our average points per game where we finished last season at, and execute a defensive scheme similar to what the Seahawks ran. We have a legit chance at beating the Bronco's.

I do know this. The Chiefs refuse to and will not just lie down for the Bronco's. GO CHIEFS !!!!!!
