I've REALLY been off the idea of picking a WR at No. 23, especially in one of the deepest WR classes we've seen. I really would like an OLB for the Chiefs first round pick, Dee Ford specifically.

So, to show how dumb all the other APers are for wanting a WR at No. 23, I set out to look at all the first round drafts back to 2000. I wanted to see what type of first round WRs have came from picks 20 or after.

Here is the list. I was wrong, there are some really good names in here.

2013: DeAndre Hopkins (27), Cordarrelle Patterson (29)

2012: Kendall Wright (20), AJ Jenkins (30)

2011: Jon Baldwin (26)

2010: Demaryius Thomas (22), Dez Bryant (24)

2009: Percy Harvin (22), Hakeem Nicks (29), Kenny Britt (30)

2008: None (Donnie Avery and Devin Thomas were picked 33 and 34)

2007: Dwayne Bowe (23), Robert Meachem (27), Craig Davis (30), Anthony Gonzalez (32)

2006: Santonio Holmes (25)

2005: Matt Jones (21), Mark Clayton (22), Roddy White (27)

2004: Michael Jenkins (29), Rashaun Woods (31)

2003: None

2002: Javon Walker (20)

2001: Freddie Mitchell (25), Reggie Wayne (30)

2000: Sylvester Morris (21), R. Jay Soward (29)
