FanPost

I know most of you guys are going to hate this.

But what if I told you there was a guy on the open market, most likely willing to sign for the Vet minimum salary, whose known for his speed, routes, and hands. In his last NFL season he averaged 16.4 yards per catch (although only 15 receptions), 13 of those resulting in a first down. I think Chad "Ocho Cinco" Johnson is worth a chance. It's clear he still wants to play, and I believe he would leave his ego on the bench. If any thing, he will be a failed experiment and we cut him before the season. But Johnson could bring a lot to this team, and I would love to see him become a role model for our young receivers (having no team want his services really humbled Chad, and maybe one of the best wide receivers of his time has something up his sleeve?). I know most of you cringed when you saw Ocho Cinco, and that I am biased towards Johnson, but I'm having a hard time thinking of a better WR to sign with our cap situation.
