Sad that the Chiefs postseason has come to an end? Wish you could see them play one more time? Well, now you can!
The Pro Bowl this year was already going to be featuring Jamaal Charles (already named a team captain in the Pro Bowl), Eric Berry, Brandon Flowers, Dexter McCluster, Tamba Hali, Branden Albert, Dontari Poe, and Justin Houston.
And now two new replacements have been named: Derrick Johnson and Alex Smith.
Derrick will replace NaVorro Bowman who tore his ACL during the 49ers recent loss to the Seahawks.
Alex gets the invite after Tom Brady decided he had something better to do (again) after his recent loss to the Broncos.
That makes for ten (10!) Chiefs headed to the Pro Bowl this year. This will be Alex's first Pro Bowl appearance.
And if Vernon Davis and Frank Gore decide to make the trip, this could be a fun reunion for the three players who spent so much time together on the 49ers (maybe Alex can convince them to consider moving to KC at a discounted rate).
