Only four teams remain in the NFL playoffs, and unfortunately our Kansas City Chiefs are not one of them.
With the Chiefs in the same position as most of us, on their couches with some potato chips and a beverage, that leaves room for temporarily rooting for another team.
In the NFC Championship Game, the Seattle Seahawks are playing host to the San Francisco 49ers. Of course, the 49ers are looking for their second consecutive Super Bowl appearance while the Seahawks are hoping to make their second showing in the big game, first since 2005.
Personally, I'm pulling for the 49ers. I'm not a huge Colin Kaepernick fan (stopping kissing your bicep, you're a grown man), but I do like most of the other players. Patrick Willis and NaVorro Bowman are two of the best linebackers in football and work incredibly as a tandem. I also love watching the brute strength of Justin Smith, that guy just brings it.
I don't really have much against the Seahawks, outside the fact half (well, it seems like half) is on some banned substance. Honestly, how has that story not become massive? You can bet if they reach the Super Bowl, the media is going to stir that up like none other with two weeks of boredom.
So, who are you pulling for?
