I’m not going to lie it’s nice having options. The easy answer here would be Justin Houston. Three sacks in a game is a hell of an accomplishment but I have to give the nod to Dontari Poe. The man wreaked havoc inside all day against arguably the Jaguars best offensive lineman. 5 tackles, 1 assist, 1.5 sacks and a tipped pass for a NT. He also contributed 2 QB hits and his pressure opened opportunities for his teammates. We’ve talked about it since the Ron Edwards days, for the 3-4 to be dominant you have to have a force in the middle. Today Poe was a force. Can he carry this performance over to next week and beat up rookie Travis Frederick and the Cowboys line?
