After eight loooong months, here we are. It's game day for the Kansas City Chiefs, better known as Red Friday. The Chiefs play the New Orleans Saints on the road Friday night in the very first preseason game of the year for both teams.
For the Chiefs, this is an opportunity to see how their new leadership -- namely head coach Andy Reid and quarterback Alex Smith -- has changed this team, which won just two games last year. It's now a West Coast Offense in Kansas City with Reid and Smith while the defense is also under new leadership in defensive coordinator Bob Sutton.
For the Saints, this is the return of Sean Payton after he was suspended for all of the 2012 season due to the bounty scandal. I want to know if their offense is as good as ever with Payton back, and I'm also very curious to see what Rob Ryan does with their defense.
