Nobody likes it when a player goes down with a season-ending injury during training camp, especially when you are counting on said player to play a significant role.
Of course the player I am referring to is Brian Bulaga
In light of Bulaga's ACL tear, the Packers have to be thinking about making a move to sure up the O-line considering all the investments they've made in that backfield (Aaron Rogers, Eddie Lacy and Jonathan Franklin)
This poses an opportunity for John Dorsey to contact his old team with a trade, offering BA. Now, we have been through this scenario with the Dolphins, and regardless of where you came out on keeping Albert, these types of opportunities can't be dismissed. Desperate teams make rash decisions on occasion.
That being said, I have no delusions that the Packers will offer up a handful of high draft picks for an Above Average LT that is on a one year contract. But, if we were close to grabbing a high 2nd from Dolphins, I don't see why we cant get, in all likelihood a low 2014 1st round pick for BA's services.
So the question is 2 part:
Do you even make the call if you are John Dorsey, and if so, what is your bottom line offer?
