Out: No one
Not a difficult one to pick. This one is obvious considering Ricky Stanzi has already been cut. The only question is the order of these three. Is it Alex, Chase and Tyler? Or Alex, Tyler and Chase? Some might say it should be the latter despite what the Chiefs depth chart says.
Out: Shaun Draughn
OK, OK. Gray over Draughn? I thought Gray was more impressive last night than Draughn has been this preseason. But Draughn has had a better offseason overall than Gray, and he's often been running ahead of Gray, who led the running backs with 28 snaps last night. I'm going with a gut feeling, which is a theme you'll find in my 53-man roster.

Out: Toben Opurum
Not really any surprise here. I like Opurum though. With Reid's affection for fullbacks, I wonder if he could be a practice squad candidate.
I just couldn't get Richardson on the roster. Devon Wylie brings more in the return game so he picks up that spot. Can anyone find a way to get Rico on the team? Please tell me. He's one of my favorite undrafted free agents.
No surprises here. As noted earlier, the o-line seems set -- barring roster cuts from other teams.
Out: Demetrius Harris
Moeaki's 12-week injury means the Chiefs have to do something. They can't just leave him on the roster all season. So I predict they will hold onto him during this round of cuts, and then place him on IR-designated to return on September 3, the first day you can. Harris, who needs time to grow physically, gets the practice squad. Brock is more ready right now, and had three times as many snaps last night as Harris.
Mike Catapano becomes the second Chiefs draft pick to get cut (following Braden Wilson). Lane didn't play much last night. Not sure why.

Zombo!!! He got a pick against his former team on Thursday night. Jones brings a lot in special teams. Josh Martin has a real shot to make the team, but I can't get him on.
I went back and forth on Diles. Special teams help gets him on the team.
The only question is Jalil Brown, but he's a solid special teamer.
Out: Bradley McDougald, Malcolm Bronson
The toughest position group on this 53-man roster projection. Like Rico, Bradley McDougald is one of my undrafted free agent favorites. But I just can't get him on the team. I can't take off Commings, who was a draft pick and the Chiefs have carried on the roster this long already. I'm not ready to put him over Hartman. I don't know how to get him on.
