I'm going to try a MVP post this year. Each game I'll hand out the "arrowhead award" for the past game, current game, and next game. The past game award will go to the player that either negatively or positively best supported his spot on the team. The present MVP award for the player that performed best for the current game. The next game award will be for the player that best set themselves up for future games. I'll start game one and welcome your input throughout the season.
As a warm up ill post for preseason week four:
Past game: Junior Hemingway 7 catches for 80 yards for a TD
Junior solidified himself as a receiving option on this teams 53 man roster
Current game: Tyler Bray 14/25 169 3TDs 1INT
As if he needed to, Tyler showed why he beat out Ricky and his hair as the third quarterback. Bray has a future… if he wants to.
Future game: Cyrus Gray 13/72 yards, 5.5 yard average
If Cyrus can catch the ball consistently out of the back field he could play a major role on this team and beat out Shaun Draughn as the third running back.
