Kansas City Star : Chiefs’ Jamaal Charles will practice Sunday
Running back Jamaal Charles will be back in the lineup when the Chiefs return to practice Sunday, coach Andy Reid said Saturday. But Reid said he wasn’t certain whether Charles would play in the next preseason game next Saturday night against the Steelers in Pittsburgh. "We’ll see what he can do,’’ Reid said. "We’ll see how he does tomorrow. We’ll take it day by day.’’'

"I didn't think there was any reason to risk it," Reid said. "He's getting better each day, making progress. It's a day-to-day situation. We'll see how he is tomorrow, but it is day to day. It was a hard workout today and we'll see how he is tomorrow." Reid refused to rule out Charles for the rest of the preseason, and Charles said, "We'll see when we start practice on Sunday how I feel."
