The Kansas City Chiefs have brought another one of their own back: longsnapper Thomas Gafford.
Welcome Thomas Gafford back to the Kansas City Chiefs. The long snapper is in the fold for the 2013 season, according to Aaron Wilson.
Thomas Gafford's Chiefs deal is one year, $715,000. Got$10,000 workout bonus

The Chiefs haven't confirmed this yet.
Gafford won the great long snapping battle of 2009. He and Tanner Purdum competed for the job throughout the summer and Gafford won. He's been on the Chiefs ever since.
Purdum set the long snapper market (there's no such thing) by signing with the Jets earlier this week, paving the way for Gafford to return.
