A few Kansas City Chiefs free agents are drawing interest elsewhere. Peyton Hillis, a free agent, plans to visit the Green Bay Packers, according to a report. Hillis spent the 2012 season in Kansas City.
Free agent Glenn Dorsey is visiting the San Francisco 49ers and Peyton Hillis is visiting the Green Bay Packers. What's up with former Chiefs visiting the NFL's best teams? The Dorsey news we knew about but the Hillis information is new.
Hillis is one of the Chiefs 15 unrestricted free agents. He came to Kansas City last season on a one-year deal and didn't make a significant impact. An ankle injury in the first half of the season didn't help his cause and he ended the year with 309 rushing yards on 85 carries for one touchdown.
Going from the Chiefs to the Packers wouldn't be such a bad deal. (Neither would the 49ers.) Hillis isn't a dependable feature back but he can be a role player given the right system.
Is he a fit in Green Bay ... isn't everyone?
