I think the Smith trade is the beginning of a what will be a lot of moves. This move tells me a lot. The Chiefs are not waiting for any league mandated dates. I believe picking up Smith and trading away our high second means we already have a deal in place for our #1 overall pick.

I also think we sign Bowe, Dustin and CB Sean Smith right out of the gate in FA. Then they tag Alberts

Dorsey and Reid work some magic with their former teams in the draft. We trade that #1 to Philly for their #4 and their #35. Philly grabs their LT for the next ten years in Joeckel. Now the big drop....down to #26 with Green Bay, we get a good return: #26, #55 and their 1st next year. They jump up to get LB Jones
