Free Agent WR the Chief's Ought to Sign

A lot of free agent acquisitions this early in the process are signed with little to no hope of actually making the final roster. For this reason, the handful of signings which the new regime has made over the last month has not bothered me, but nor have the players been noteworthy. This week, however, I believe that with the Bills releasing WR David Nelson, all of that changed. Nelson is 6'5 (similar to Baldwin, but without the tendency to disappear in games). He had a great season two years ago and his star was rising, but he was injured very early last year. I do not have time now (maybe later) to write up a fanpost on Nelson, but I can tell you that he is from same town as I am (800 people) and single handedly led our school to the state championship a few years back. After being undrafted, he was and is a guy with a chip on his shoulder. I believe he is absolutely a guy who could potentially be a starter in KC and someone we should look at. And we wouldn't be the only ones....here is an article about why the Cowboys might think about signing Nelson.
