I want a Live Arm.........among other things!

All this bruhaha over quarterbacks is sometimes quite a bit of fun. Questions abound with where we go with that #1 pick. I am not here to tell you where to go (with your choices) because of right this moment, it still is in question of who we take first. I have a few thoughts on some of the choices and think I'll start with anything other than QB.

Nah, the hell with it! All I want is a QB with a LIVE ARM! I don't care where we get him from, not do I care what we have to surrender, if anything, to get him. I don't care about his name or draft status, nothing but his arm. Like speed in a skill position, arm talent is something that can't be learned. It is like having a 97 mph fastball, it don't grow on trees. For me if he ain't got this talent you start looking at the next guy. See I would rather have an open debate on this topic instead of the same one all the time, namely naming your choice for our starter to be.

Let me start out by saying the kid from WVU is a bit lacking in the arm department. Yep, blasphemous as it is, it is what I believe I see. Let me explain, or attempt to; Geno throws some of his outs and deep balls with pretty good accuracy but the balls seem dead on arrival. What I mean is that in the pro's, you cain't leave balls hanging, they have to arrive with some pop. This ain't college, this is big league football. NFL DB's will eat those balls up. Go look at his film, go look at Stafford or Bradford, and see if you see what I see. Who has the live arm of all these guys this year?

If I was Glenn Dorsey I'd retire. I got bank and retirement benefits for the future. Why press your luck and end up a cripple? You do remember he had leg issues as a child and some with us, so why press your luck? I wonder if the players want out of here after the drama that played out over the last few years? Do they think the team is cursed, and if so, want to flee as soon as they can. TJAX is from down that way where the Hoo-Doo is part of the life, will he go? Not giving the team the option of his services? See my fanatic faithful, I had the gloriuous experience of that last great team and those Super Bowl years. It has been a long, long time since this town glowed from the excitement of having a team that blasted the opposition on the way to a Championship.

One question is how to fill in the gaps from FA? Difficult task when we do not even know who stays and who goes. Under those conditions it is downright impossible to predict what need we will have that is the most important. I think it's great that the HC and GM are looking at all the options that present themselves. It is a buyer's market since so many good players are on the market, and with our great advantage of position for this particular draft it is likely we get plenty of deals in the making. Getting a bit long winded so, Go Chief''s!!!!
