The Kansas City Chiefs delved into free agency last week by visiting with free agent Chris Canty, who was cut by the New York Giants several weeks ago. According to a new report, Canty's decision may not come until after the 2013 NFL Combine.
Chris Canty could still be a Chief. There's no indication whether that's likely or unlikely to happen but with Chiefs as one of the teams Canty has visited they're still in the race. Canty's final decision on where to play in 2013 may not come for another week or more.
ESPN's BIll Williamson reports that Canty is expected to make more visits after the NFL Combine, which starts today and ends next Tuesday.

Canty was cut by the Giants on February 6. Within five days he visited the Tennessee Titans, who reportedly made him a contract offer. The Chiefs were the next team he visited with. Canty said he wouldn't mind playing for the Panthers since he grew up near the area.
Other than those teams, we have no names of other teams in the running.
Looks like we'll be waiting until at least next week for another update on Canty.
