In a poll that ran on Arrowhead Pride earlier this week, 57 percent of Kansas City Chiefs fans said they would use the franchise tag on Branden Albert over Dwayne Bowe. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, 57 percent of Chiefs fans could be wrong.
So there's this:
On SportsCenter, ESPN's Adam Schefter said Dwayne Bowe may get franchise tagged again. "The #Chiefs are gonna figure out a way to keep him."

Which gives me an opportunity to explain how my ideal scenario would look with the Kansas City Chiefs' Branden Albert and Dwayne Bowe franchise tag questions.
First, the Chiefs just need to sign one of them. Just one. Signing both would be terrific but in the short term they just need to sign one.
Second, franchise tag the other player. Not only does this ensure both will be back in 2013 but if the Chiefs have the franchise tag available they can hold an upper hand of sorts in negotiations, perhaps making the player more likely to sign.
Third, win 13 games and then the Super Bowl.
What do you think of my plan?
Rest easy, Chiefs fans. This franchise tag talk will all be done with by March 4.
