With each new season there comes an opportunity for change. With the Miami Dolphins unveiling a new logo soon and the new owner of the browns saying he will explore new uniforms (I hope he chooses these! Swap the B with an arrowhead and switch the colors and I'm sold). I thought the Chiefs could also look into this option.

The current KC Chiefs logo dates back to 1971 and contrary to popular opinion, it is not the original Chiefs logo. In fact, the new KC logo was molded after the 49ers logo. Lamar hunt really liked the way the 4 and 9 overlapped and voila... new KC logo.

I know that many on here will make the comment that the Chiefs uniform is classic and shouldn't be changed and that is a valid point. Yet change is a part of life, we no longer drive cars with drum brakes, have no need for typewriters or the yellow pages and the milkman no longer knocks on our doors. We have a new GM, new coach, new #1 QB (I Hope)... It is time for a new era in Chiefs football!

There doesn't need to be drastic change, maybe just a new font for the "KC" part, or insert the word "Chiefs" in lieu of the "KC". Here is the Nike Pro Combat version in which I liked the helmet (and logo), but dislike the jersey and pants..so i swapped it up.
