First of all i do not post too much on A.P. just a comment here and there. I do however read almost every post on every thread every day and i have been a Chiefs fan since i knew what football was 74/75.

In 1986 i was a sophomore in High school Jon Mackovic had a pretty good team 10-6 wild card trip we lost a nailbitter to the jets (i still hate the jets) there was no internet back then you only got to see football for a few hours a week, so it was kind a big deal. Anyhow we had a decent young QB that we drafted in 83 ....we wont mention the other QBs in that class but things were looking up for my beloved Chiefs. <<< that was the last time a QB drafted by the Chiefs Started and won a game for the Chiefs. 87 rolled around the Chiefs went on like a 9 game loosing streak i think they were like 4-11 or something every thing kinda got blurry around then (HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS) but i specifically r ember wishing Bill Kenny and Todd Blackledge would get in a car accident together, not fatal or any thing just enough for the 49ers to feel sorry and give us that Montana dude. So we stunk it up for a couple years Then we Got Marty, drafted the G.O.A.T. #58 Had a great 90s even drafted some QBs here and there Barnes, Killian, Did we draft Blundin? Regardless none have started and won a game for the Chiefs Since the golden boy from Penn State.

So here we are some 27 years later and we have a chance to own a Draft, I currently am on the Geno Band wagon untill he proves me wrong via bad combine/ interviews im sold with him as our 1 pick. The bottom line is we need our own quaterback that we drafted Start and win games for us. If it is Geno or E.J. in a later round or we trade get a bunch of picks pick Nassib , Bray, and some other QB from a community college that none of us have ever heard of. Hell Resign SNAP THE EFFING BALL BRODIE! let Stanzi play, considering two years ago i put my foot in my mouth by stating ( Ricky Stanzi wil be the next Chiefs qb to win the Superbowl!) im all for that idea. Alot of people think he is bad because he could not beat 7 and 9 for playing time, i dont like to spell they're names that 7 and 9 but mayby it was just because Romeo was mad at him for not cutting his hair and turning of that damn Lynard Skynard . Dont slip on Stanzi yet. Steve Young, McNair, Brady etc.etc. those guys rode the pine too.

Thanks for reading my ramblings, im not a pro blogger, i could punctuate and use perfect grammar but that takes too long and i have other stuff to do. So while we wait impatiently over the next couple months and debate, dissect, argue, fantasies, and analyze which QB to Take And When to Take him, i think the one thing we all agree on is that we need to draft and groom our own QB plus i really want to win the Lamar Hunt trophy and the one that comes after that before i die. thanks
