The players really seemed to get a boost in the Dallas game wearing all red. There is no rule against wearing your team color on the road; in fact, Dallas started wearing white at home because Tex Schramm wanted the fans to see the visitor's colorful uniforms. Before b&w tv was so prominent, NFL teams often both wore their colors in the same contest. The only rules I could find on this are the home team chooses first, and the Commissioner has final say on whether the opposing sides have sufficient contrast to allow the visiting team to wear colors. The only matchups I can foresee as a possible issue is playing at Denver or Cincinnati and they choose to wear orange. Against the Colts, Ravens, Patriots, or any non orange jerseyed foe, I say Red It Out! Our team needs any mental edge they can get to roll over this playoff drought hill.
