Branden Albert and Justin Houston are questionable for Sunday's Colts-Chiefs game while Dexter McCluster is probable, Andy Reid told reporters on Friday. Judging by Reid's comments on Friday, they may have to play the Colts without Albert and Houston.
Albert and Houston will be questionable for Sunday. Andy Reid says it "will be a stretch" for them to play, but they'll see how it goes.— Terez A. Paylor (@TerezPaylor) December 20, 2013
It's Friday and the game is two days away so things can change but it's possible they both miss the game. They're very much ... um, questionable.
For Houston's injury, we're coming up on the one-month mark in a few days. There was believed to be some optimism that he could play this week, so we'll see. Albert hurt his knee in the December 1 Broncos game. Both players were limited in practice throughout the week.
As for everyone else...
Chiefs coach Andy Reid said Branden Albert (knee), LB Justin Houston (elbow) are questionable for Sunday. Everybody else is probable.— Herbie Teope (@HerbieTeope) December 20, 2013
That means Dexter McCluster, who missed last week with a foot infection, is likely to play. As is Anthony Fasano and Eric Fisher, who have both been banged up lately. Fasano has missed the last two games after his concussion.
I'm confident the Chiefs can handle the loss of Houston and Albert considering they've done so for the last two games anyway (and three games for Houston).
