There are some Chiefs fans who ought to be ashamed of themselves. This trashing of Alex and our offense is a 1/2 inch below how badly Jim Harbaugh and the 49ers treated Alex. After all his work and wins Alex bestowed upon the 49ers, Harbaugh and company became a bunch of INGRATES, and replaced Alex with the flash/dash gimmick Colin FAD-pernick. Interesting, the 49ers are 5-3 and the Chiefs are 9-0. Fact is, Alex and Greg Roman (OC) were a match made in heaven. It had virtually nothing to do with Harbaugh other than him bringing Roman on board. Harbaugh couldn't stand being off center stage, so enter his own freak show with FAD-pernick.
Do some fact checking and count how many media pet QBs are throwing INTs all over the field, fumbling, bumbling, throwing temper tantrums on the field, screaming/abusing teammates on the sidelines, locker room, etc. Then count how many times Alex has turned over the ball and acted like ass on the world stage. There's a MAJOR clue as to why the Chiefs stand alone as the only undefeated team this season.
A QB does much more than leaning heavily on throwing deep balls that have a 70% chance of being picked off, incomplete or fumbled. True, Alex tends to throw fewer deep balls. But we've seen he's quite capable of doing so. Being less inclined to do so is yet another clue as to why the Chiefs stand alone as the only undefeated team in the league. I can go on. But I think most of you get it.
Chiefs fans; the next time any of you have the urge to whine/complain about Alex/the Chiefs: Take time to ponder how football is a team sport. Then take a look around the league and ask yourselves: WHICH TEAM WOULD YOU LIKE OUR CHIEFS TO TRADE PLACES WITH?
