Respect Is Not Given, It Is Earned!!!

The Kansas City Chiefs stand at 9-wins and 2-losses with a huge opportunity this Sunday against the Denver Broncos. This game holds a lot of weight, but there is more to be gained for the Kansas City Chiefs than just the AFC-West lead, possibly a bye and home field advantage in the playoffs. This game is where the Chiefs can earn respect on a national level.

The Kansas City Chiefs face a daunting task in beating Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos without Justin Houston and with an injured Tamba Hali. In the face of adversity, our team's true character will be tested. The saying goes 'If You Want To Be The Best, You Gotta Beat The Best!' and I know what you are thinking...'We aren't playing Tom Brady!' Seriously though, the Kansas City Chiefs must play with a chip on their shoulder and go out there and beat the Denver Broncos to earn the respect this team deserves.

Thanks to SportsCenter, NFL Live, the NFL Insiders, and various other news outlets covering the NFL, we know who the Denver Broncos are and what they do. We know how amazing Peyton Manning, the Golden Boy of the NFL, has played. We know that he has lightening fast decision making skills and the quickest release in the NFL. We know Denver has a full arsenal of weapons. We know!!!

The Kansas City Chiefs held the Broncos to 27-points in Week 11, which is the lowest the Broncos have been held to all season. Our team has the talent to disrupt Peyton Manning more than the Patriots did, using the Patriots blueprint. We know what we have to do to beat the Broncos:

* Eliminate turnovers

* Be physical at the line of scrimmage

* Utilize the running game

* Control the clock

* Reduce the Bronco possessions

* Score atleast 28-points

* Tackle! Decrease Denver's 'Yards After the Catch'

Yes! Andy Reid and our Kansas City Chiefs know what they have to do to beat Peyton Manning and the Denver Broncos. This Sunday, they need to get out on the field and execute the gameplan without overthinking the big picture. This game is about respect, and it is about damn time the NFL started respecting Arrowhead Stadium and the Kansas City Chiefs!!!

Do you think the Chiefs are disrespected? What are you tired of hearing? Sound off Chiefs fans!!!
