OT Eric Fisher and G Jon Asamoah have both been ruled inactive for Sunday's Chargers-Chiefs game at Arrowhead, which means the Chiefs will be playing without 40 percent of their starting offensive line.
Donald Stephenson will step in for Fisher at right tackle; Geoff Scwhartz will step in for Asamoah.
Stephenson and Schwartz aren't bad depth options compared to the starters so while this will be an issue I don't think it's a dramatic drop-off in performance.
Full list of Chiefs inactives: QB Tyler Bray, CB Dunta Robinson, LB Nico Johnson, C Eric Kush, DE Mike DeVito, OT Eric Fisher, G Jon Asamoah.
The Fisher injury isn't believed to be serious. Asamoah was questionable so I would doubt his is too serious either. DeVito was ruled out earlier in the week so that's one to be a little concerned about.
Other notes:
- That's three total starters missing today's game.
- DeVito was already ruled out; Allen Bailey will start in his place
- Robinson is inactive for the second straight week. He has hardly played in a month.
- DT Jaye Howard is active; He's been inactive most of the year.
