This is the second year that I have been away from Kansas City and am curious about how those of you who are also in other states, or where they don't broadcast the games, watch them. Most people will suggest to go to a sports bar but the closest one, which is a BWW, is a 40 minute drive away. (Columbus AFB is in the middle of nowhere.) Now although that's not a terrible drive, it proves difficult since the wife and I are very involved in church and that doens't get out until 1215 most Sundays. This year we opted to go with NFL GameRewind but it's been painful. We avoid all social media Sunday and Monday so that we can watch it after work Monday night and as hard as we try, we seem to accidentally find out if they won, a score, or some big play thanks to co-workers (who are rooting for our beloved Chiefs to lose) or people back home. I know that Sunday ticket is an option but it's a rather expensive option to follow one team, and we didn't find out about the Madden/Sunday Ticket deal until after they pretty much sold out. I'm not looking for any illegal streams or anything so don't get me wrong, just wondering if other fans away from home find this as difficult as I do.
Glad that the game this week will be streamed by NBC for Sunday Night Football.....I don't think I could keep my sanity if I had to wait until Monday night like normal. Also, first post so yay for that.
