Tony Gonzalez Doesn't Want Falcons to Trade Him! Well what else does a Pros Pro say?

Just because Tony Gonzalez said "He Doesn't Want Falcons to Trade Him" doesn't mean anything for two reasons.

1: Because what else does a HOF bound player going to say publicly. The same thing. If you wanted to be traded you don't go out in public and say it. Especially Tony Gonzalez because he's a mans man. A true professional!

2: Because at the end of the day the Falcons are going to do what's best for themselves. It's a business and to make a trade is the only thing that makes sense right now because...

Everyone is talking about the Falcons are in a bad situation right now. Is it time to call it a season? YES! Really it is time to call it....

Looking at what was said this morning by the one and only....

ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter is quoted saying "the injury to Julio Jones, the Falcons could trade Tony Gonzalez" and more bad news for Falcon fans that concerned WR Roddy White could miss at least one game, possibly more.

What should Atlanta do now?

Well KC Chief's Big Dog GM Dorsey opened the door or phone line to Atlanta when asked by about trading a draft pick for a HOF TE "I am very FRUGAL with my draft picks"

frugal - adjective: 1. sparing or economical with regard to money or food.

Telling that KC is willing to talk but the price of the trade will be low.
How low is the question? It's got to be realistic for both.

I can see a 5th round pick that becomes a 4th if KC makes the Super Bowl. Is that to high. No way to give up a 4th round pick to play in the Super Bowl!!! And if KC doesn't make it to the super Bowl well it would only be a 5th. Please has there ever been a 5th round pick ever as good as Tony Gonzalez (except Tom Brady) Well Atlanta might want more for the HOF Gonzalez's but they won't get anything as close.

Well looking at the KC Chief's Offense list of needs is... You guessed it a top TE. Alex Smith loves his TE. It's his favorite target. Hey, Didn't Alex have a pro bowl one in SF.

Now the Bearded one McGrath is doing a good job but lets be honest Gonzalez will be a huge up grade right now. But just think having a true (3) TE set McGrath, Fasano and then Gonzalas... Able to run or pass in that formation!?!?! WOW who could stop that. And that would mean KC will have to IR Kelse and they should he is just taking up space right now.

Remember these things that Dorsey has said about players

"Can they or can they not help us?"

"We said that we would turn over every stone possible."

So if you were GM what would you give up for Tony Gonzalez?
