Tony Moeaki waived; off IR

The Kansas City Chiefs have brokered an injury settlement with veteran tight end Tony Moeaki and are waiving him from injured reserve, according to league sources. Moeaki is subject to waivers. Moeaki fractured his scapula during the preseason against the Pittsburgh Steelers and is expected to be ready by the 11th week of the regular season. The injury was regarded as a clean fracture and there was no displacement of the shoulder, which should allow him to return to play soon.
