The Kansas City Chiefs coaching search remains focused on Andy Reid, who was fired by the Eagles on Monday. Reid and the Chiefs have spent the last two days negotiating a deal to become the next Chiefs coach. The latest update is below...

We have a couple of more updates on the KC Chiefs coaching search as it relates to Andy Reid, who is still expected to be the Chiefs next head coach despite the following updates.

On Thursday night, ESPN's Adam Schefter reported:

And on Friday morning, ESPN's Ed Werder, when he wasn't making fat jokes about Andy Reid on SportsCenter, reported:

The key line is that last one: "...still expected to be next Chiefs coach."

So, for now, it all looks good, but I'm like a lot of others: I won't truly feel good until I see Andy Reid on the podium being introduced as the next head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs.
