The Kansas City Chiefs are known to be in the market for a quarterback but everyone says there's not a sure-fire No. 1 quarterback in this draft. One mock draft has four quarterbacks going in the first round -- but none to the Chiefs.
We have another head-scratcher of a mock draft. Peter Shrager's latest 2013 NFL mock draft at Fox Sports has four -- yes, four -- quarterbacks going in the first round, including three in the top 10.
The four quarterbacks taken in the first round:
6. Arkansas QB Tyler Wilson (Browns)
This would surprise me considering the Browns just used a first round pick on Branden Weeden. That said .... considering where the Chiefs are with their quarterbacks, I can't totally blame the Browns if they wanted to keep adding quarterbacks. The more you have, the more likely you are to hit.
7. Florida State QB EJ Manual (Cardinals)
Haven't seen him in the first round of a lot of mocks. The Cardinals absolutely need a quarterback, in a desperate way in which only the Chiefs can understand.
8. Syracuse QB Ryan Nassib (Bills)
This is going to be the pick everyone is going to make. Nassib is already talking about how he would love to be a Buffalo Bill (who wouldn't love to be a top 10 pick?).
Russ Lande sent Nassib to the Chiefs .... with the No. 1 overall pick.
22. WVU QB Geno Smith (Rams)
Whoa. Surprise! The Rams have Bradford and I'm not sure they're willing to give up on him so this is kind of a head-scratcher, especially when Bradford is being paid a gazillion dollars under the old CBA.
