A little while ago we found out that Geno Smith and Matt Barkley would not be participating in the Senior Bowl. When this news came out a lot of people had mixed reviews. Some people thought that it was good and some people thought that it was normal, and some people thought that it was a bad idea.
"Smith is mistaken if he thinks he's already locked in as the top senior quarterback and destined for the top 10." via Mike Mayock NFL Draft Expert
As the past two days of of Senior Bowl practice have went on, I've heard a number of different reviews about the other two top quarterbacks Mike Glennon and Tyler Wilson. As I stated before Mike Glennon has had a number of mixed reviews to where some scouts that felt he did really good on his throwing and others were not so sold
"I can't believe some of these teams are trying to talk themselves into (N.C. State QB) Mike Glennon. I don't see it." -NFC personnel executive
Tyler Wilson has been doing pretty well also as a lot of scouts are raving about his play and how he is the best QB on the South team. The biggest knock on Wilson I saw was that his hands were small....But to me that's something very minor. Other than that I've seen a lot of positive things about him.
So with that being said I ask you that question Chiefs Nation, Is Geno Smith hurting his stock by not being at the senior bowl?
