Hunt has had a lot of time to think about QB in 2013. He methodically executed his plan at the end of season bringing in HC Reid, the GM Dorsey who he selected from a short list of Reid's top GM' s. Reid has now been given full authority to set his coaching staff and hire top candidates. Dorsey will bring his talents to the table through evaluating free agents and drafting new talent. Dorsey will also be responsible for reestablishing a connection to the fanbase that was completely destroyed by Pioli and his egotistical ways. There is now a renewed feeling of hope in the Chiefs Kingdom, fans are excited about their team again and with the first pick of the draft Clark Hunt knows it. Last year the fan base was in mourning the loss of its team and Save Our Chiefs encouraged the fans to still show up to support the team but to ware black to the game instead of red. The movement was a success the Pioli cancer was removed (which was not a cheap move buying out Pioli and Crennel' s coaching staffs contracts) and fans are almost ready to come back and believe in Arrowhead and the Chiefs. But what is the final Piece, what do we do with that 1st overall pick are we going to suddenly go conservative and draft a LT or some one else who almost never touches the football? Absolutely not Hut, Reid and Dorsey already know who they are drafting with the first pick and it will be a QB the fans are starving for it. Geno Smith is the best QB talent in this draft and yes he is good enough to be elite with the right people in place to help him succeed and will have finally drafted a QB that will win us some games since the last millenium. Coupled with the Chiefs New coaching staff know other player in the draft will bring more fans back to Arrowhead and now the fans have enough to go head over heels with possibilities and our love affair with our Chiefs will have a restored passion. Hunt hired the right person for the job this time, Reid already this organization more organized and moving in one direction than we have seen since Vermeil was last here as is evident by how efficient all the new coaching staff hires were made. That type of organization was not a cheap purchase and Hunt wants a return on his investment and soon. Hunt wants a dominant product on the field and wants fans in the seats. Go Chiefs!!!!
