On Monday, I posted You Be the GM: What to Do About WR. There were a lot of different ideas, some want to keep Bowe, some want to drop him faster than a hot spoonful of human meat.
But we all agree that there are a lot of questions regarding what the heck we should do at WR. So now, put on your GM caps again, because you have to figure out what to do at cornerback today!
If you remember from the first post, for argument's sake we are assuming that we draft a QB with our first pick overall. So here we go...
Cornerback: YOU be the GM
We've got Brandon Flowers locked up long term, but there's a lot of questions about who should play opposite him as well as depth questions. Should we stick with the guys we've got? Is Javier Arenas your starter? What about Jalil Brown? Are you okay continuing to groom this group this year?
Or do you look to the draft? Remember, we spent our first pick on a QB, so unless you are mortgaging two or three Christmases, Dee Milliner is off the board. There are still some interesting talents that might be there in the 2nd round like Xavier Rhodes, Jordan Poyer, and David Amerson, as well as some 3rd round talent like Desmond Trufant and Nickell Robey.
Try to stay true to your decision making from the WR posts. For example, if you spent your 2nd round pick on a WR, you shouldn't be saying you're going to spend your 2nd round pick on a CB. Cause, you know. It's gone.
Alright, AP. You're in charge. YOU Be the GM!
