Dwayne "Butterfingers" Bowe should have a new home in 2013. As prolific as he has been for the Kansas City Chiefs, he is now on the decline and his drops have always been a problem, even single-handedly keeping the Chiefs out of the playoffs in 2011 with an endzone drop against the Raiders in Week 16 (pictured below). For a guy that makes his living off of catching passes, he definitely isn't one of the best in his craft.
Dwayne Bowe is among the top in the league in dropped passes every single year. Add in the fact that he doesn't have much speed and separation ability, and you've got an overpaid WR that you should lose on your hands.
Andy Reid's offenses are better built for speed receivers like DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin. The NFL is all about speed in 2013, and Dwayne Bowe doesn't have it.
Bowe also demands a lot of money as he's been able to put up solid numbers considering our passing game has lived and died by him the last few years. We could get the most trade value for him right now, and possibly pick up a speed guy like Mike Wallace to fill his spot.
Should we trade DBowe for a faster receiver with better hands? Possibly even getting a CB and speed WR?
