The whole staff is based on finding and grooming a QB...Reid and company will hand pick which one they want with the advantage of having the 1st pick in the upcoming draft. The other teams that might draft a Qb early are the Raiders,Bills,Cards, and Jets...While the Bills in my opinion might target Nassib, The Raiders,Cards, and Jets are the only 3 teams that might bite on him early and by the looks of how those teams are...The Chiefs look like the best place for him to succeed! A lot will happen between now and the draft, but whether the Chiefs trade down or stay at 1 and land Smith...I think it will be the best fit for him. For the fans that are saying that this years draft doesn't have a clear cut winner at QB, and neither are worthy of a top 10 pick...You are wrong!!! With the rookie salary scale in place teams like the Browns last year were able to gamble on a Qb in rd 1 and not cripple the franchise if they decide to go another way next year...Why can't the Chiefs? QB is the most important position in football and KC needs one the most...Any one of these Top prospect qb's in this years draft are an upgrade from Matt Cassel, With the staff in KC that has been assembled the fans can expect a young Qb to be drafted and the best one is Geno Smith.
