NFL playoff schedule 2013: Texans vs. Patriots with trip to AFC Championship on the line

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

They call the Divisional round the best weekend in sports and that has been proven true this weekend. The first three games this weekend have been much better than all four last weekend. Finishing out the Divisional weekend is the Texans and Patriots.

The Patriots and Texans meet at Gillette Stadium to determine the right to face the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC Championship game. The Patriots are the heavy favorite in this game but as we learned with Saturday's Ravens-Broncos game, being the favorite means very little.

Watching these games has me extremely anxious for the Chiefs to be relevant again. Andy Reid, John Dorsey and some of the changes have me starting to think optimistic about playing in one of these Divisional round games soon.

Here we go now. I'm rooting for another good game. It doesn't really matter to me who wins, but I did pick the Patriots -- 35-20.
