CHirs Humphreys-USA TODAY Sports

Andy Reid continues to build his coaching staff with the Chiefs. Matt Nagy, Reid's former quality control coach in Philadelphia, confirmed that he is the Chiefs new quarterbacks coach.

We have what I believe is the first confirmation of an assistant coach joining the Kansas City Chiefs. Matt Nagy, who worked with Reid in Philadelphia, will be joining on as the Chiefs quarterbacks coach.

PennLive.com reports on this exchange with Nagy, who confirmed the move:

"I got the QB job," Nagy said in a text. "I'm very excited and I'm ready for the challenge."

We figured this move was becoming because the website of an agency who reps coaches put up an image earlier this week showing Nagy as the Chiefs quarterbacks coach. That combined with reports out of Philly that Nagy was following Reid pretty much told us this was going to happen.

So that's one confirmed from one side of the operation. The Chiefs haven't said anything on any coaching hires.
