The Chiefs are a mess. They only way we are going to solve this problem is by bringing a new GM and Head Coach that can really institute some change through Free Agency and the Draft.
GM: Marc Ross, Director of College Scouting, New York Giants
Marc Ross (via smashedtoad1983)
Marc Ross is a young personnel candidate from the New York Giants. He has been instrumental in bringing in guys like JPP, Mario Manningham, Victor Cruz and others. I think he would give the franchise a fresh new look and I think he would be okay with not having full power.
Head Coach: Bill Cowher

Cowher would almost be in a GM/HC role with Ross doing more of the scouting and Cowher making the decisions. I think he would be a great fit in KC but I don't know if will happen, we will see.
OC: Ken Whisenhunt

The recently canned Whisenhunt is still a great offensive mind and it would help reunite old buddies.
DC: Dick Lebeau
Dick Lebeau (via smashedtoad1983)
I think wherever Bill Cowher goes he is going to try and bring all his friends along. There is rumor that Dick Lebeau might be out as D-Coordinator of the Steelers.
Jake-Long (via smashedtoad1983)
1. Geno Smith, QB, West Virginia
Geno Smith in Chiefs Uniform (via smashedtoad1983)
The time is now to take a QB if Aaron Murray comes out, I think its a toss up, but for now I would go with Geno.
1a. Cordarrelle Patterson, WR, Tennessee
Cordarrelle Patterson (via smashedtoad1983)
Has speed and size, would be a huge weapon.
2. Barrett Jones, C/G/OT, Alabama
AP All America Team Football (via smashedtoad1983)
I am not sure where our O-Line would stands with the Hudson being injured and Lilja retiring. I would hope that Jeff Allen would be the answer at one of the guard spots but Jones has experience at all 3 OL positions and could play guard or center. Chiefs oline would look like LT Long, LG Jones C Hudson RG Asamoah RT Albert with Allen and Stephenson as backups.
3a. Desmond Trufant, CB, Washington
Trufant (via smashedtoad1983)
Trufant is great in man-coverage and would fit well into the Chiefs system.
3b. Shayne Skov, ILB, Stanford
Shayne Skov (via smashedtoad1983)
Would fill in well next to Derrick Johnson, he has a mean streak and would bring high energy to the Chiefs defense.
4. William Gholston, DE, Michigan St.
William Gholston (via smashedtoad1983)
Assuming we are still in the 3-4 Gholston would fit well. Although he has underperformed in college he has all the tools and size to perform and could develop into a very good d-lineman.
5a. Tyrann Mathieu, CB, LSU
Tyrann Mathieu (via smashedtoad1983)
He does have drug issues, but so did Justin Houston.
5b. Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina
Marcus Lattimore (via smashedtoad1983)
He has had some bad injuries but he is still a 1st round talent when healthy. Hopefully he can recover.
6. Michael Williams, TE, Alabama
Michael Williams (via smashedtoad1983)
At 6-6, 270lbs, the man has been a great run blocker for the tide and could do the same for the chiefs.
7. Bret Maher, K, Nebraska
Bret Maher (via smashedtoad1983)
He has been a great kicker for the cornhuskers, and missed field goals are not acceptable from Ryan Succop. Hopefully a competition for the job will get the best out of both of them.
While I didn't get a FS, I think I would give the Kendrick Lewis and Eric Berry tandem another try. Other possibilities in the draft I thought over were, Manti Te'o, Keenan Allen, Justin Hunter, Tyler Wilson, Tyler Bray, Tavon Austin, Stedman Bailey, Xavier Rhodes, Jordan Poyer, Kenny Vacarro, Bacarri Rambo, Zack Ertz, Rex Burkhead, Le'Veon Bell.
