ESPN's NFL picks for Week 1 are split on the Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs.

Here's how the picks shook out:

Picked Falcons: Eric Allen, Mike Golic, Merrill Hoge, Chris Mortensen, Adam Schefter, Seth Wickersham

Picked Chiefs: Ron Jaworski, Mark Schlereth, Tom Jackson, Keyshawn Johnson, Mike Ditka, Cris Carter

That's six apiece. But when you take into account the non-humans -- AccuScore and ESPN's pick 'em -- the Falcons take the lead.

Let's hope those guys picking the Chiefs end up looking smart.
