Good morning everyone.

I'm just getting settled into my seat here in the press box for today's Kansas City Chiefs and San Diego Chargers game at Arrowhead Stadium.

There are a couple of players on the field doing some pregame workouts.

There's also a giant KC Chiefs Arrowhead banner on the field that they're preparing for today's festivities (not pictured).

I saw Kevin Harlan of CBS, who is calling today's game, on the way in here, so we know he's ready for today. The parking lot smelled amazing, as usual, with folks already several hours into their tailgating.

Today's the big day. Last week's win over the Saints breathed new life into the Chiefs season. That new beginning starts today against the Chargers.
