KC Chiefs gameday is here. The Chiefs are playing the Chargers for a share of first place in the AFC West.
It's gameday. Time to do this thing, Chiefs.
The Chiefs are hosting the Chargers today with a share of first place on the line. That doesn't seem to make sense -- oddly, the same feeling as last year -- but it does.
There's one stat shows how unlikely it is that sometime around 3:00 p.m. (Arrowhead Time) today the Chiefs could be sitting on a share of first place in the AFC West:
The Chiefs have not had a lead in regulation all season.
Crazy.
Atlanta jumped out to a big lead. So did Buffalo. The Chiefs only took the lead from New Orleans on an overtime kick. That's the only lead they've had all season.
So, yeah, there may be some confidence on the team but there's still plenty of skepticism. The Chiefs gotta put up a full performance.
