The Kansas City Chiefs are going to need several players to step up and make impact plays if they are going to start with a season-opening win against the Atlanta Falcons.

Significant players like Derrick Johnson and Brandon Flowers have been dealing with injuries, and Tamba Hali has been suspended for the first game. That places pressure on guys returning from injury to come back quickly, and Romeo Crennel said that he's not holding Jamaal Charles, Tony Moeaki or Eric Berry back at all once the games officially count.

"I think we have to do whatever we need to do to win a game with those guys," said Crennel from Arrowhead Stadium on Monday. "Now, that doesn't mean that they have to take every rep in practice, but [when] we get to the game time, we need to do whatever we need to do to win."

While the Chiefs will be down a few players against the Falcons with Hali suspended, Kendrick Lewis out and potentially some others dealing with injuries, the return of those impact players will definitely give the team a boost.
