The Film Room breakdown of Bills vs Chiefs

I don't really have all that much to say. I am frustrated with the team, coaches, and fellow fans about how our team has played and our reactions to it. While I was sitting here at work actually doing something productive (shocker I know) my Twitter feed started getting blown up by tweets from The Film Room. As I was going through them I realized there was a lot of great information there that would bring up (hopefully positive) discussions about our team. So, after the break I will literally copy and paste the tweets (easiest fanpost ever) and let you guys discuss them at length. I know some of you follow him already but not everyone does so here we go:

(1 of 3)...Daboll's scheme. Currently the TE's are negative blockers bringing players into the box that they can't account for

Cordell(@TheFilmRoom)

#ChiefsIssues(2of3)...sub package...the sub cost us v. DET/BUF a year ago. 2 new DLineman, and 4 players in secondary with lil' familiarity

Cordell(@TheFilmRoom)

ChiefsIssues...(2of3 cont.)...we are a 3-4 team that has been forced into a sub package. Fits/fills aren't there, lot of technical errors.

Cordell(@TheFilmRoom)

#ChiefsIssues(3of3)...Neither Daboll/Crennel are game planning well. No need to blitz without pass rushing personnel, no need to force run.

Cordell(@TheFilmRoom)

#Chiefs when Romeo says things can be corrected I believe him. When DJ says there is a lack of communication, it's evident.

Cordell(@TheFilmRoom)

#Chiefs the Bills didn't have a great game plan. Hali twisting inside while having contain is coachable. Mistakes like this is what hurt us.

Cordell(@TheFilmRoom)

#Chiefs it wasn't just Hali, Examples throughout the game. Outside rush forcing Fitzpatrick up, then Ropati stunting inside. Undisciplined.

Cordell(@TheFilmRoom)

#Chiefs a simple fix to the run game is removing a TE from the box. Remove a linebacker in order to get cleaner blocks. Too much traffic.

Cordell(@TheFilmRoom)

#Chiefs the interior run game is math. A TE adds a LB (suited for run stopping) in the box. A WR removes a LB'er and adds a DB.

Cordell(@TheFilmRoom)

#Bills it's the formula the Bills used. They added a WR which removed our base. Their intent wasn't to pass, but to reduce the run defenders

Cordell(@TheFilmRoom)

#Chiefs said it a couple weeks back. Like to see Hillis paired with McCluster, and Jamaal paired with the 2 TE's.

Cordell(@TheFilmRoom)

#Chiefs I think we have an elite run defense in the 3-4. Gailey knew that, and he added a WR to keep it off the field. What coaches do.

Cordell(@TheFilmRoom)

#Chiefs the reality is, O-coordinators rather run at Ropati, Poe/Powe, and 3 linebackers. The results with run D shouldn't surprise early.
