Now for the injury.
KC Chiefs tight end Kevin Boss suffered a head injury in Sunday's game after catching a 29-yard pass from Matt Cassel. The play initially did not look serious but replays showed that Boss's head was slammed against the ground.
The play came coincidentally two plays after Boss caught a similar pass and Bills safety George Wilson was hurt.
Here's how Boss was hurt:
As you can see, he's making the 29-yard reception but he's off balance and is going to fall backwards.
Bills safety Da'Norris Searcy is there as he falls and hits him to make the tackle. Look at his elbow -- it's coming right at Boss's head.
Right on top of him. Boss's head hits the ground and the Bills players immediately call for the Chiefs trainers to come out. Looks like they knew it could've been bad.
Another angle of the hit. That can't feel good.
Boss left the game and did not return. Romeo Crennel didn't have any updates after the game, only saying Boss would be re-evaluated.
By the way, Searcy was flagged on the play for unnecessary roughness. This came shortly before his teammates said the Chiefs were playing dirty.
