What has to Change

Look I get it that a lot of people are fed up with losing. I am sick to my stomach but this team is not this bad.

Recently the Bills have had our number. Last year we got our rear end kicked and then the year before that we were 5 seconds from tying them.

As I type this, the starting offense is still on the field. That shows that they have not given up.

Things do have to change but I will not give up.

Offense

  • Turnovers- Peyton Hillis fumbled in the endzone. Matt Cassel fumbled again. This cannot happen any more. Romeo Crennel needs to preach that the turnovers and mistakes cannot happen. Turnovers have cost us points and games. If Hillis scores, this game is different.
  • Invisible Players- Last week Jonathan Baldwin was completely gone. This week I have seen more Shaun Draughn than Jamaal Charles. Baldwin made a couple catches this game.
  • Holding- When we got Eric Winston, I thought our days of hearing a holding penalty on our right tackle were over. Now this may be a small gripe but this cannot happen.
Defense
  • Shiftiness- Can't let players like CJ Spiller rip us a part. Next week we play Darren Sproles. If this continues, he will tear us a part. Against big backs we can stop them cold but these smaller guys we are prone too. Last week we did not Michael Turner do any damage. Next week we have Mark Ingram. Have to contain all of the run.
Before anyone places blame on Cassel, once again he was the bright spot. He did his job. Next week we have a defense that has been shredded by both the run and pass. The Saints offense is worse than Atlanta. You have to contain Sproles and you should be alright.
Look if you guys want to panic, go ahead. This team did not give up. The starting offense was in the whole game. At no point was it in Romeo Crennel's game plan to pull them out. If they gave up, you would have seen Quinn in there and other guys.
Romeo is saying that if you do not produce, he will keep you out there until you do. I imagine that he will not be too happy with the way his team produced. There will be some severe practice going on. If you think he will praise this team, you may be right but he cannot be to easy on them.
